Frequently asked questions
HF Guard works in read-only mode. It does not ask for private keys, seed phrases or transaction permissions, and it cannot access your funds.
HF Guard currently supports Aave V3 (23 networks), Compound V3 (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, Optimism, Mantle), Morpho Blue (5 networks), Fluid Multiply (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, BSC) and Euler V2 (16 networks). More lending markets are added regularly.
HF Guard reads public on-chain position data and tracks Health Factor, liquidation distance and key position metrics.
The lower the Health Factor, the closer the position is to liquidation.
HF above 1.5 is generally a lower-risk zone.
HF between 1.3 and 1.5 is still a relatively lower-risk zone, but worth watching.
HF between 1.2 and 1.3 means elevated risk.
HF between 1.0 and 1.2 means the position is getting close to danger.
HF below 1.0 is a critical zone.
HF Guard sends alerts when your position enters a different risk level.
It can also notify you when Health Factor crosses important thresholds such as 2.0, 1.9, 1.8, 1.7 and 1.6.
Alerts are best-effort and may be delayed.
